Twitter Debuts Enhanced Audience Analytics Tools for Content Marketing and Events: Twitter will make it easier for publishers “to better understand what sort of content is resonating with [their] readers” with a new audience analytics dashboard. The new publisher dashboard will offer brands insights and analytics on who’s reading and engaging with their content on Twitter, when it’s being viewed, and which content is working best. The goal is to allow publishers to optimize what they produce to make it more effective. Twitter also announced plans to debut a separate dashboard that will specifically track real-time information around events happening now and in the future. This will include breaking news events, as well as things like conferences, shows, and so forth.

Twitter Introduces New Program for Testing Up-and-Coming Features: In the coming weeks, Twitter is launching a new beta program in which a group of select users will be granted access to new, nearly complete features through a stand-alone app. Participants will be asked to try the up-and-coming features, share screenshots with others, and discuss them, and then provide feedback to Twitter. Instagram Updates API to Include Video Scheduling: Last month, Instagram updated its API to allow direct video scheduling through third-party social media management tools. Previously, the Instagram API limited users to scheduling only single-image posts. With this update, account owners and managers can schedule video posts to Instagram without having to use workarounds like setting an alert or reminder to manually post the video through the Instagram app. (37:04)
