Monoprix Helps Shoppers Get A Date At The Grocery Store http://ift.tt/2EZFdZR Monoprix Helps Shoppers Get A Date At The Grocery StoreA French supermarket chain is using unusual packaging to help shoppers find love Common food items like fish fillet, dates and crackers are turned into Valentine’s cards at French grocer Monoprix. The store has replaced its normal packaging with what it calls the Pack 06, a reference to the first two digits of most French mobile phone numbers. The packages are designed for people who have crushes on fellow shoppers they see in the supermarket. To make a move, just grab a pack from the special display and write your number on the box provided. The tricky part might be sneaking the item into your crush’s basket, getting them to pay for it and take it home. A bolder method would be just buying the item and handing it over to your crush. The boxes feature adorably corny french puns, such as asking someone on a “date” using a pack of dates, or confessing your “crunch” on someone with saltines.
