As a result, there are professional basketball leagues that have popped up everywhere. Even though most people are familiar with the NBA, it is possible for anyone with the drive and commitment to the sport to succeed in basketball. This includes Roman Perez, who has taken a very unique path to get to where he is today.

Roman Perez was born in the Dominican Republic. At a young age, he and his family moved to Brooklyn, New York, to pursue their dreams. Roman Perez was not allowed to go outside very much as a child. He grew up in the Williamsburg area during the 1990s. For this reason, his parents were concerned for his safety. At the same time, this did not stop him from pursuing his dreams. He knew that he wanted to play basketball. Even though he started to train hard in high school, he knew that he was behind many of his peers. This is a late age for many people with aspirations to play professional basketball to get started. In this fashion, he was cut from teams repeatedly during his childhood.

Eventually, he made his first basketball team at the age of twenty-three. He played college basketball for a couple of years before returning to the Dominican Republic to continue to play. Now, Roman Perez has been pushing others to get back on the court as the city reopens. He knew that he wanted to get back out there as soon as possible. It is clear that his skills have grown. Recently, he even led his basketball league in scoring at 28 points per game. He can also be found applying his trade in unique places such as Russia, Spain, and France. Despite his success, he never forgets his roots. He consistently returns to New York City to play street ball during the summer.

Roman Perez has also been serving as an inspiration to others. He has developed quite a large social media following on platforms such as Twitter and Instagram. He knows that he has a unique journey and he wants to share it with other people. He knows that if he can find success, others can as well. In this fashion, he continues to push others, as well as himself, to pursue dreams both on and off the court. Even though his future is not certain, he knows that he has total control over it. It will be interesting to see where his basketball journey takes him next.
