Keep up with climate justice by following these five organizations https://ift.tt/3eFLNnY Moving forward requires focus. Mashable's Social Good Seriesis dedicated to exploring pathways to a greater good, spotlighting issues that are essential to making the world a better place. The need for climate justice — which acknowledges that environmental hazards like pollution disproportionately hurt people of color and low-income communities, and fights to correct these injustices — is a pressing concern that isn't going away anytime soon. Increasingly, politicians are acknowledging that climate justice is integral in the battle against climate change. But long before climate justice became a buzzword, organizations have been fighting for the rights of those most affected by the devastating effects of climate change. Below are five organizations working on the ground, both in the U.S. and abroad, fighting harmful environmental policies, listening to frontline communities, and standing up to powerful corporations. These groups also keep the public up to date on their work and climate justice developments through social media. If you want to keep up with climate justice developments — and fight for justice yourself — follow them. Zero Hour is a youth-led organization started by youth climate justice activist Jamie Margolin to focus on climate change and climate justice. Margolin was frustrated by how elected officials tend to ignore young people in conversations about climate change. In 2017, at age 15, she and three other co-founders started Zero Hour to center young and diverse voices. Zero Hour focuses on intersectional solutions to climate change, like listening to the perspectives of marginalized groups (such as Indigenous people and people with disabilities) and incorporating those viewpoints into Zero Hour's actions. The group does some of its work through climate marches, summits, and social media campaigns. Its most current campaign, Vote 4 Our Future, is a joint effort between Zero Hour and the nonprofit National Children’s Campaign. The goal is to make climate the most important issue for Americans and to train young people to educate their communities on the Green New Deal. The youth-led project includes grassroots political activism, community-led strategic partnerships, and rallies, such as virtual events on topics like fracking. The campaign is explicitly aimed at increasing voter turnout among first-time voters and youth voters of color to mobilize these communities to combat environmental racism and environmental injustice. Tamara Roske started the Earth Guardians as an accredited high school in 1992 in Maui, Hawaii, where it centered environmental awareness and action in its core curriculum. The organization moved to Colorado in 1997 to engage more young people in its work. Today, Earth Guardians trains youth in over 70 countries to lead climate and social justice movements through art, music, storytelling, civic engagement, and legal action. Earth Guardians is the only organization plaintiff in the class action lawsuit Juliana vs. United States, which states that the U.S. government has deprived Generation Z of its constitutional rights to life, liberty, and property through the government's actions that spur climate change. In 2020, the organization built an online community resource center to unify Earth Guardian crews, which work on environmental issues, like pushing fracking bans and eliminating pesticides, in their communities. The group hosts in-person and virtual trainings like the Indigenous Youth Leadership Training, which brings together Indigenous youth leaders from more than 20 tribal North American nations to share information about their traditional ways of life and solutions around climate justice. The organization has also developed climate change curriculum, distributing climate lesson plans to 5 million American students in 2019. Follow the California Environmental Justice Alliance on Twitter, Instagram, and FacebookThe California Environmental Justice Alliance, which was started in 2001 through grassroots efforts, works in California to organize the people most affected by climate injustice — low-income communities and communities of color. It fights for policies to alleviate both poverty and pollution, and its Climate Justice Program (part of its overall work to fight against climate injustice) strives to push forward statewide policies that will protect these vulnerable communities, for instance, moving oil and gas drilling operations away from homes, schools, and hospitals, and phasing in renewable energy for frontline communities. The nonprofit Amazon Watch, which was started in 1996, is focused on protecting the Amazon rainforest and advancing the human rights of the Indigenous people living in it. Amazon Watch also challenges the extraction of natural resources and promotes Indigenous climate justice solutions, like independent solar power and the capacity for Indigenous leaders (especially women) to take care of their ancestral lands. It partners with Indigenous and environmental organizations to do this work. Its ongoing campaigns include:
The Climate Justice Alliance works in the U.S. and abroad to unite more than 70 urban and rural frontline communities to fight for climate justice. Here are a few ways its members organize:
Climate Justice Alliance also has a podcast where host Keenan Rhodes (a Climate Justice fellow and youth organizer), shares stories of frontline communities and solutions around climate injustice. Social Media via Mashable https://ift.tt/2DCFv97 November 9, 2020 at 06:13PM

How to Create a Successful TikTok Marketing Strategy https://ift.tt/2IkDgLn Considering TikTok marketing for your business or organization? You’re not alone. We polled more than 800 professionals on LinkedIn, and the results reveal that many are still thinking about it. The video app may not be a good fit for every brand, especially if your customers and TikTok user demographics don’t overlap. But many businesses have found success marketing on TikTok—from Nike to Universal Pictures to the San Diego Zoo. A lot of the biggest brand moments on TikTok have been accidental. Ocean Spray sales and Fleetwood Mac plays skyrocketed after Nathan Apodaca kickstarted the #DreamsChallenge on a longboard ride to work. And now Arby’s is having a moment because someone purchased one of their menus thinking it was a flatscreen T.V. The power of TikTok, especially with creator-led content, has even led some companies, including Walmart and Dunkin’ Donuts, to encourage employees to post videos while at work. Don’t throw your TikTok marketing strategy out the window just yet. Learn how to set TikTok up for business and how to tackle TikTok influencer marketing and more. Bonus: Get a free social media strategy template to quickly and easily plan your own strategy. Also use it to track results and present the plan to your boss, teammates, and clients. How to set up TikTok for BusinessTikTok opened a TikTok for Business hub this summer, and rolled out pro accounts in October for businesses and creators. With a business account, you can add more information to your profile, and access real-time metrics and audience insights. Here’s how to create a TikTok business account:1. Download and open the TikTok app. 2. Login with your email, Google, Twitter or Facebook account. If multiple people will need to access the account, choose login credentials you are comfortable sharing. 3. Set up your account. Tap Me in the lower right corner, then click Edit Profile to add a profile picture and bio. You can add links to your Instagram and Video accounts, too. 4. Tap the three dots in the upper right corner, then Manage Account. 5. From there, switch to a pro account, then select Business or Creator. 6. Select the category that best fits your business, then tap Next. 7. You can now add a website and contact email to your profile. Tip: TikTok launched Back to Business this summer to help support companies impacted by COVID closures. Small businesses can apply before Dec. 31, 2020, for one-time ad credit worth $300 or have a portion of ad spend matched by TikTok. Create a TikTok Ad accountIf you plan to run ads on TikTok, you’ll need to create an ad account for TikTok Ads Manager. Visit tiktok.com/business, click Get started and complete your information. Note: TikTok currently has a limit on registrations, so you may need to try again later. Expect TikTok ads to become more widely available soon, especially since they’ve now teamed up with Shopify to create shoppable ads.
How to create a TikTok marketing strategyTikTok trends can seem random, and there’s no such thing as a surefire marketing strategy, just ask TikTok’s Global Creative Strategist. Here’s how to develop a TikTok marketing strategy to start with and adapt along your TikTok journey.
Get familiar with TikTokIt would be wrong to approach TikTok marketing the same way you approach Instagram or Facebook marketing. TikTok is an entirely different social network, with unique trends, features, and behaviours. Bonus: Get a free social media strategy template to quickly and easily plan your own strategy. Also use it to track results and present the plan to your boss, teammates, and clients. Get the template now!
Spend some time getting sucked in by TikTok videos. Explore the different features available on the app, and note what filters, effects and songs are trending. Keep an eye out for Hashtag Challenges, which basically involve a song, dance moves, or a task that members are challenged to recreate. Don’t overlook TikTok’s duets feature either.
Read up on the TikTok algorithm, too. Understand how TikTok ranks and displays videos in the For You tab can inform your content, hashtag, and engagement strategy. Get the full lowdown on how the algorithm works here. You can also brush up on all things TikTok by taking courses in the TikTok Business Learning Center. TikTok influencer marketing is another big part of the app’s ecosystem. Check out TikTok’s mega-stars, like Charli D’Amelio, Addison Rae, and Zach King. And try to discover rising stars, or influencers in your niche.
Learn all the in’s and out’s of TikTok here. Define your target audienceWho do you hope to reach on TikTok? Before you start creating content, learn about the TikTok demographics, and identify those who might be interested in your brand. TikTok is most popular with teens, but it would be a mistake to write TikTok off as a teen app. The 20-29 year-old cohort follows close behind teenagers in the U.S., and in China, “glam-mas” are showing that fashion only gets better with age. Looking to expand your reach in India? You may want to reconsider. The app has been banned there since June. Source: Statista Spend some time researching your audiences on other platforms and look for overlap on TikTok. But don’t rule out new or unexpected audiences. Your current audience may not be on TikTok, but maybe there are subgroups with related or slightly different interest on the platform. For example, a children’s books publisher’s audience could consist of authors on LinkedIn, readers on Instagram, and illustrators on TikTok. Once you’ve zeroed in on a potential audience, research what types of content they like and engage with. Then start to brainstorm content ideas for your brand. Perform a competitive auditAre your competitors on TikTok? If they are you could be missing out on the action. If they aren’t, TikTok may be a way to gain a competitive advantage. Whether or not your competitors are on the platform, find at least three to five similar brands or organizations and see what they’re up to on the app. Try to learn from what’s worked and what hasn’t worked for them. If it’s helpful, use the S.W.O.T. framework to identify each competitors strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. Or find another competitor matrix that fits. Because TikTok is a creator-led platform, don’t rule out including TikTok stars and influencers in this exercise. Find personalities that specialize in your area of expertise, from cosmetics to medicine or education and literature. Align goals with business objectivesYou can create TikToks just for the sake of it, but it’s better to have a goals in mind can be tied to your overall business objectives. Whether you plan to reach a new audience, improve brand image, promote awareness for a product, or develop stronger customer relationships through engagement, it’s important to back your efforts with a rationale. Consider using the S.M.A.R.T. goal framework, or another template, to set goals that are: Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Timely. Like most social platforms, TikTok provides analytics for pro accounts. From your profile page, click the three dots in the upper right. From there click Business then Analytics. Explore the dashboard and find the metrics you can use to measure your goals. Read our complete guide to TikTok Analytics. Create space to experimentThere’s no such thing as a formula for going viral on TikTok. Leave space in your TikTok marketing strategy to be creative, have fun, and go with the flow. If something flops, learn from it and move on to the next experiment. If your brand ends up accidentally trending like Home Depot, Ocean Spray, or others, make the most of it. Be in on the joke. Don’t plan to be taken too seriously on TikTok.
Bonus: Get a free social media strategy template to quickly and easily plan your own strategy. Also use it to track results and present the plan to your boss, teammates, and clients. Twitter may slow down users’ ability to ‘like’ tweets containing misinformation https://ift.tt/3eHFakY Twitter is working to expand the use of its “misinformation” labels on misleading tweets. The company has developed a new feature, not yet live, that would pop up a “misleading information” label when a user tries to “Like” a tweet that’s been labeled as misinformation. The feature was discovered by reverse engineer Jane Manchun Wong in the Twitter app code. She confirms the addition doesn’t prevent a user from continuing to “Like” the tweet, however — it just slows you down. A similar warning appears today when users attempt to retweet posts labeled as containing misinformation.
This new feature would fall in line with other measures Twitter has been taking to slow the spread of misinformation on its service, including a recent change to how retweets work. On October 20, 2020, Twitter began to prompt anyone who goes to retweet something to share a quote tweet instead. The added bit of friction is meant to help users pause and think about what they’re amplifying, as did the change which pushed users to click through and actually read the content they’re sharing. In addition, Twitter also rolled out a series of new policies ahead of Election Day in the U.S., to further guide its handling of misleading tweets. Beyond just labeling misinformation, it applied more aggressive warnings and restrictions on tweets from U.S. political figures, including candidates and campaign accounts, as well as other U.S.-based accounts that met certain thresholds in terms of followers, or tweet engagements. Warnings were placed over tweets claiming premature victory, and had been designed largely in response to Trump’s broad hints that he would not easily concede. But use of these aggressive warnings may dwindle in the weeks and months ahead, given that Trump’s legal challenges do not look promising. Though the election may have highlighted the problem with misinformation to a greater degree than usual, it remains a significant problem for today’s social platforms to address. There are now a number of users who don’t want to deal in facts, resorting to even calling fact-checking organizations biased against them. It’s unclear that any user interface tweaks at this point can help solve this problem. Twitter says it tries to deamplify misinformation today by not allowing those labeled, misleading tweets to appear in Search or injected into users’ Timelines (if they don’t follow the account). But those tweets can still be replied to, liked and retweeted. Twitter confirmed the feature spotted by Wong is in development, but did not have a time frame to its rollout. “Our goal is to give people the context and tools necessary to find credible information on our service — no matter the topic or where they are seeing the Tweet,” a Twitter spokesperson said. “This is an iterative process, and we’re continuing to explore features and policies to help people on Twitter make their own informed decisions.”

IncFile Review https://ift.tt/3lqJo2M Incfile is one of the most popular business formation services on the web. It’s a fast and easy way for anyone to start a business without the hassle and costs associated with hiring an attorney. More than 250,000 businesses have launched with Incfile over the past 15+ years. As a pioneer in the business formation industry, Incfile uses modern technology and provides exceptional customer service to entrepreneurs who need assistance in registering a new business. This service provider is best known for its rock-bottom prices. In fact, you use Incfile to form your business for free (more on that later). Not sure if Incfile is right for you? Fortunately, you’ve come to the right place. We’ll break down the service offerings, prices, packages, and everything else you need to know before making a decision. You’ll even learn more about what real customers are saying about Incfile. Ready to get started? Sign up with Incfile today. Incfile Business Formation ServicesIncfile’s business formation services can be segmented into three main categories—LLC services, incorporation services, and registered agent services. We’ll cover each of these in greater detail below. Incfile LLC ServicesWhen it comes to forming a limited liability company (LLC) with Incfile, simplicity is the first thing that comes to mind. In just a handful of simple steps, they walk you through the entire process online. Whether you’re looking for just the basics to get you started or a customized LLC kit, Incfile has you covered. Every LLC package from Incfile comes with the following:
You can get all of these services from Incfile for free; just pay the state fees. This simple and inexpensive setup is why so many entrepreneurs turn to Incfile for LLC formation services. There are three LLC packages for you to choose from:
If you’re on a tight budget and just want the basic services from the bullet list above, you can get that Silver package without paying a dime to Incfile. As previously mentioned, this even comes with a free year of registered agent services. With that said, the Silver package doesn’t come with an employer identification/tax ID (EIN). This is definitely something you’ll need, so it makes sense to get it directly from Incfile. You can add that to your Silver package for $70. Alternatively, the Gold plan comes with several additional premium services. This includes an EIN, preparation and filing of IRS form 2553, an operating agreement, banking resolution, express shipping, and a business formation kit. The Platinum package comes with added perks like business contract templates, free domain name, email service, expedited filing, and a better version of the business formation kit. Not all of the Platinum features are really necessary, especially the free domain and email service. These are things you should be getting elsewhere. The state fee varies depending on your location. It’s easy to see those exact figures directly on Incfile’s website when you select your state. All of the pricing is straightforward and transparent. Incfile can also provide you with assistance for trademarks, a Certificate of Good Standing, DBA (doing business as) names, and business license research. With more than 18,000 verified reviews directly on their website, Incfile has a 4.8/5-star rating. What are customers saying about Incfile as it pertains to the LLC services? The vast majority of reviews boast about how fast and easy the service is. Customers love the simple dashboard, low prices, and clear instructions. One verified buyer called Incfile “the most efficient business filing service they’ve ever found.” Entrepreneurs who have never been through the LLC filing process before find the service extremely helpful. If they had questions or needed assistance, the customer support team at Incfile was there with a resolution. Like most business services, there will always be some people who had negative experiences. A handful of reviews complain about a lack of communication or trouble reaching a support agent. But these seem to be anomalies buried amongst a sea of great reviews. The fact that you can use Incfile to register your LLC for free is probably the best value you’ll find on the web. With that said, I’d recommend the Gold package, as it truly comes with everything you’ll need to form your LLC, including an EIN. Incfile Incorporation ServicesIncfile also has exceptional incorporation services. You can use them to form a C-Corporation, S-Corporation, or a nonprofit corporation. Like the LLC services, the entry-level Silver package from Incfile is 100% free for the incorporation services as well. So regardless of the entity type you need to form, all you’ll have to pay is the state fee (prices vary by state). The free plan comes with preparation and filing for the articles of incorporation, initial annual report, and IRS form 2553. You’ll also benefit from unlimited name availability search, statement and resignation of the incorporator, online status tracking, online access to incorporation documents, and next business day processing. You’ll also get registered agent services free for the first year. With that said, the free plan does lack some of the services you’ll need to officially incorporate. I’m referring to things like:
Rather than buying these individually, they come included with the Gold package (starting at $149). The Gold package also comes with a business formation kit and express shipping. So it’s really a great value. Incfile has a Platinum package (starting at $299). This comes with expedited filing, faster shipping, a free domain, email service, and the Platinum business formation kit. Unless you want the enhanced kit and FedEx shipping, the Gold package will be your best value. Ignore the free domain and email services. I wouldn’t get either of those from a business formation service. I also like Incfile’s incorporation services because they have so much information about each entity type. Even if you’ve never formed a C-corp, S-corp, or nonprofit, you can basically learn everything you need directly from Incfile’s website—for free. Furthermore, there’s a dedicated learning center with research tools, guides, and seemingly endless resources for incorporations. What are customers saying about Incfile’s incorporation services? These aren’t nearly as popular as the LLC services. So you need to do some digging around to see. Incfile’s website lacks a lot of these reviews, so we browsed through some third-party review sites like Trustpilot to see what real customers were saying. The rating is fairly average. There are actually some recent reviews dragging the score down a bit, and a few of those are related to the incorporation services. Some of the complaints were related to how long it took to incorporate. Others pointed to customer service issues. However, so many of these recent reviews aren’t verified. So I question the legitimacy of them. Despite the handful of less-than-stellar reviews for Incfile’s incorporation services, we can still recommend them with confidence. If you’re launching a C-Corp, S-Corp, or nonprofit, Incfile is a cost-effective alternative to hiring a traditional lawyer to handle this for you. Incfile Registered Agent ServicesIncfile’s registered agent services are available in all 50 states. They’ll help you manage crucial legal documents and prevent errors with your filings. Every LLC or corporation is required to have a registered agent. So if you’re using Incfile’s incorporation services, it makes sense to use their registered agents as well. However, existing businesses can also take advantage of registered agent services from Incfile. They make it easy for you to change registered agents, regardless of the state you’re operating in. Here’s a quick overview of the services and benefits you’ll get from an Incfile registered agent:
My favorite part of Incfile’s registered agent service is the online dashboard. You can manage everything you need online, at a glance, from anywhere with Internet access. If you’re using Incfile to form an LLC, S-Corp, C-Corp, or nonprofit, the registered agent services are free for the first year. Then the rate renews at the regular price of $119 per year thereafter. Customers rave about Incfile’s registered agent services. After reading through testimonials and reviews on their website and third-party platforms, it seems like the registered agent service is why business owners trust Incfile for the long haul. While it’s obviously great to have the free registered agent initially, so many customers mention how they have been using Incfile for years—long after the complimentary year has expired. So when businesses have the chance to look elsewhere after that first year, they continue to stick with Incfile, which is extremely encouraging. From helping you avoid missed deadlines, fines, and non-compliance issues to managing paperwork and responding quickly in the event of a lawsuit, Incfile’s registered agent services are top-notch. This gives you the opportunity to focus on your business while they handle the little things. If something important arises, you’ll be notified by SMS or email immediately. Overall Pricing and ValueWe’ve mentioned Incfile’s prices throughout this guide. But I want to take a moment to provide you with a more in-depth explanation of the packages and rates. Whether you’re forming an LLC or corporation, these are the plans you can choose from: Silver — $0 + state fee
Gold — $149 + state fee
Platinum — $299 + state fee
**Services specific to corporations Overall, the Gold package provides the best value. Things like an EIN and more are required to form an LLC or incorporation. That doesn’t come standard with the Silver plan. I can see why some people would be enticed by the “free” aspect of the Silver package. But the $149 plus state fees for the Gold plan is such a small price to pay for starting a business. Most people won’t need the Platinum package. The free domain and email service shouldn’t sway you at all. Those are services you should be getting directly from a web hosting provider, not a business formation service. Although I will say that the Platinum business formation kit and expedited filing are nice-to-haves. User ExperienceUsing Incfile is seamless. Getting started is as simple as navigating to the website, choosing your entity type (LLC, C-corp, S-corp, or nonprofit), and selecting your state. Incfile will automatically generate your state fees based on the entity you want to form. As you can see from the example above, the state fee for an LLC in Washington is $200. So the pricing is transparent. Once you sign up and choose your plan, everything is straightforward from there. You’ll enter details about your business and manage it all from Incfile’s intuitive dashboard. You can track the status of the formation process online. Once you’re officially registered, you can use the dashboard to access crucial documents. Your registered agent will notify you via SMS or email if something requires your attention (like an urgent piece of legal mail). Overall, the interface is really clean, and it’s easy for anyone to navigate and figure out. Customer SupportEvery Incfile customer (even people on the free Silver plan) get unlimited phone and email support. Whether you need help finding a document or just have a general inquiry, the Incfile team will be there to provide assistance. Phone support is available from Monday to Friday, 9 am – 6 pm CST. As previously mentioned, Incfile has outstanding registered agent services as well. Due to the human touch associated with this service, I think it’s worth mentioning in the customer support category. Your registered agent can receive documentation on your behalf, ensure you stay compliant, forward your mail, and alert you if something comes up. Most of the online reviews from existing customers say great things about Incfile’s support. With that said, there are a handful of people who weren’t exactly satisfied. I saw a few recent reviews from people who said they had trouble reaching an agent. But those seemed to be outliers compared to the bulk of reviews. Final VerdictIf you need to form an LLC, C-Corp, S-Corp, or nonprofit corporation, Incfile should definitely be taken into consideration. They provide a cost-efficient alternative to hiring a lawyer. Some of their services are completely free; you just have to pay the state fees. When you sign up for one of Incfile’s business formation plans, you’ll also get registered agent services free for one year. It’s tough to pass up on a value like that. How The Older and Younger Generations Compare and Contrast Concerning Social Media Use https://ift.tt/3eGMUUd Introduction To Social Media Usage Within The Different Generations How someone uses social media(like Facebook and Twitter)really depends on their overall preferences. It also depends on what the younger and older generations hope to gain by using platforms like Facebook and Twitter. Yes, Facebook and Twitter are very popular, but there are other platforms to consider too. Other places like Instagram, Youtube, and LinkedIn are also very popular. However, some of those platforms may not be popular for every generation, says Benjamin Harow. An Example From Marketing According to some marketing findings, it is usually those who are 55 and younger that tend to use those platforms(like LinkedIn and Instagram) more. That is not to say that those 65 and older do not use those platforms, but the numbers are generally much lower. Some Of The Findings Through History 1) History shows that more than 80% of every generation do use these platforms at least once a day. Once again, the number of hours will greatly reduce as you get to those 65 and older. 2) Overall, most users prefer seeing images compared to a written text(except for when you are sending a text). It is worth noting that those 65 and older also fall into this category. There are many reasons for this(of course). 3) Everyone from the babyboomers to the GenZers uses Youtube at least once a day, sometimes many times a day (88% and higher). Nowhere on this list did they find that percent of those 65 and older use Youtube(to a great extent). Once again, not to say that those 65 and older do not use Youtube. The numbers are much lower compared to the others. Media Usage and Why Indeed, these platforms had once been associated with only the younger crowds, but a lot of this is changing. Every generation uses these platforms, but for different reasons. A brief survey was conducted and this is what the marketers found. Keep in mind, that every generation uses these platforms for different reasons. However, the list below correlates with some of the basic commonalities that have been found. Most users want to talk to friends and family(new and old). Most users want to find a community with those who are like-minded. Now, most would assume that it’s the younger crowds that do this more often. However, they have found that those 65 and older use these platforms for the same reason. Some have lost some of their friends and family they grew up with. It is only natural to want to have a friend that has something in common. Some look for solutions to problems want some fresh entertainment, and others want to expand their networks for business and personal use. Once again, it all comes down to preference and the reason behind the use. These platforms are not segregated to the younger kids(like many initially thought). Those 65 and older are using it too, but some are just not using it as often compared to others, according to Benjamin Harow. Social Media via Social Media Explorer https://ift.tt/2onGYog November 9, 2020 at 08:54AM Reasons Why You Need To Start Saving For Your College Education https://ift.tt/32svKos Saving before college lets you have no financial stress once you get on campus and settle down to study. Education fees and upkeeps are every student’s nightmare, and thorough preparation is quite important for each one of them. Although there are loans and bonds that you can access while on campus, it’s always good to opt for saving rather than borrowing. As you borrow, you are draining your future income, which you should instead be enjoying once you are done with school. Start now, and one can stand to enjoy undeniable benefits. For those interested in learning more about college relief programs costs Mos.com, says executive Alexander Djerassi. Why should you save before university? Here are some reasons: 1.Secure Financial Relief Saving now for campus education lets you worry less about your finances later on. You will have a lot to deal with, such as kids, mortgages, and insurance covers, which means you need to plan on how to manage your finances. Securing financial stress lets you have enough to get settled once you enroll in campus and use your other sources of income elsewhere. Therefore, you will have no issues with fee payments, mortgage delays, or failure to pay for your insurance premiums since you planned yourself well. 2.Time Value Of Money A dollar today doesn’t have the same purchasing power a year later. As you save in your college deposit account, you are lucky to enjoy an interest growth of your initial amount from the institution you choose. This is through compounded interest rates from the payments you make. Always go for an institution with a higher interest growth rate of your initial deposit so that you have more funds to pay for tuition and other errands that you may need to settle once you get to university. 3.Encourages relatives to pitch in Family will always come first, and once you tell them about your campus dreams and what you are doing to ensure you secure yourself a good future, they will certainly support you. You will have more personal finance and enough for your education by securing enough for it. You can ask them instead of buying you expensive gifts or taking you out on a high spending trip to chip into your college plan to make your dreams come true. Your relatives’ support will come in handy once you have enough to get you through college and graduate. They will be proud that they were a helping hand. 4.Prepare for the inevitable You cannot predict what the future holds for you, but you can plan for it. Economic swings and other inevitable events such as a pandemic are some of the reasons why you need to prepare yourself thoroughly for university education. Instead of sitting down and enlisting for loans or bonds once you get to university, which might be uncertain, through your own personal finance, you can chip into your savings plan and have enough to get you through these events. Pandemics and economic swings such as inflation are beyond your own control, which means you have nothing but to prepare yourself for your campus dream. Now that the Biden news is official, Twitter is getting cute with Trump's account https://ift.tt/3llf3Te In case you haven't heard, Joe Biden is now president-elect of the United States. Twitter, which already begun flagging Trump's tweets on his bunk election claims, now seems to be going full-steam ahead in trolling his account. Shortly before the race was called, Trump claimed that he won the election "by a lot." In fact, for multiple hours after the Biden news was announced, Trump's tweet stood as his latest: After the race was officially called for Biden, the warning link Twitter embedded under the tweet led to a Moment saying Biden did indeed win the election. That's not all, though. When people search the word "loser," a certain someone pops up at the top spot — and users have been able to replicate this: Trump's special treatment on Twitter isn't over yet, as he still holds office until January. As a world leader, that means that Twitter won't delete his tweets, for example, or suspend his account despite spreading misinformation. The company has already confirmed that should he lose the election (which he's just done), Trump will lose special protections on Twitter come Biden's inauguration. This means that Twitter can not only remove his tweets but also suspend his account should he rack up enough offenses. It's yet to be seen whether that'll come to pass. But for now, it seems that Twitter is declaring Trump a loser just as AP, CNN, Fox News, and all the rest have. Social Media via Mashable https://ift.tt/2DCFv97 November 7, 2020 at 01:30PM |
