There's an island in Japan that's overrun with hundreds of adorable bunny rabbits http://ift.tt/2p69VZb This is Rabbit Island - a tourist resort populated by hundreds of adorable bunnies. The island is called Okunoshima, located in the Inland Sea of Japan. It once had a dark history - being home to the production of poisonous gas during World War 2. Tourists can play and feed the rabbits, as well as take part in other leisure activities such as golf and camping. It remains a mystery as to why there are so many on the island, but one theory is that schoolchildren brought some over in 1971, which led them to breed in large numbers to reach their current population.
